23rd. Congress of the AIHV in Mainz, Germany
The event is being organised by the Leibniz-Zentrum für Archäologie.
The congress is scheduled to take place from 8 to 12 September at the Leibniz-Zentrum für Archäologie (LEIZA).
Interested parties are invited to submit an abstract of approximately 250-300 words by 7 April 2025. Please use the attached form and send it to AIHV23submission@leiza.de. Please limit presentations to 20 minutes. The conference languages will be English, French and German. Please note that simultaneous translation will not be provided. Congress topics will focus on the history, art history, archaeology, technology, archaeometry and conservation of glass from around the world.

February 2025 – 1st Circular and Call for Papers March 2025 – 2nd Circular and Call for Papers 7 April 2025 – Deadline for submission of abstracts 20 April 2025 – Notification of acceptance of papers and posters May 2025 – 3rd Circular and programme announcement May/June – Deadline for early bird registration 31 December 2025 – Deadline for submission of manuscripts for the Annals.
